Hacksaw Markets is a B2B prediction-market platform that operators can use to offer prediction markets under their own brands. As the Head of Market Resolution you will own the rules, data sources and operating systems used to resolve markets. The role sits at the intersection of product, data, operations, legal and risk: every resolution must be timely, auditable and consistent with the market’s published terms.
What you will own
- Design the resolution framework, source hierarchy, decision rights, service levels and exception process.
- Create clear, testable resolution criteria before markets launch, reducing ambiguity and dispute risk.
- Select and govern authoritative data providers and official sources.
- Build fallback procedures for delayed, corrected, conflicting or unavailable source data.
- Automate high-confidence resolutions with product and engineering while preserving human oversight.
- Lead disputed resolutions and maintain complete evidence and decision trails.
What you bring
- 8+ years in exchange operations, market data, event settlement, trading operations, data products or comparable systems.
- Exceptional ability to write precise rules and anticipate edge cases.
- Experience evaluating data quality, source reliability, dependencies and operational resilience.
- Comfort working across technical, legal and commercial teams under time pressure.
- Strong judgment, intellectual honesty and commitment to consistent outcomes.
