Ops Risk Analyst (24/7 Seat)

Hacksaw Markets is a B2B prediction-market platform that operators can use to offer prediction markets under their own brands. The Risk desk monitors exposure and market health around the clock. Ops Risk Analyst is the live seat that acts on limit breaches, suspicious market conditions and operational exceptions when the clock is running working closely with Markets team and settlement operations. 

What you will own

• Monitor live exposure across markets, operators and participants and act on limit breaches. 
• Work the halt-candidates queue for started events, silent feeds and prices that look wrong. 
• Monitor market-maker health and escalate widening spreads or sudden liquidity gaps.
• Handle trade-cancellation requests and the required dual-control process.
• Provide the second pair of eyes for critical Markets desk decisions during your shift.
• Write a clear incident note whenever human intervention is required.

What you bring

• Experience monitoring live trading in an exchange, sportsbook or clearing operation.
• Comfort with SQL, dashboards and tracing the number behind an alert.
• Calm decision-making during overnight, weekend or high-intensity market activity.
• Short, precise operational writing and fluent English.
