Lead the company's transport operations, coordinating people, fleet capacity and service delivery. The role involves managing daily and weekly operating plans, reviewing capacity and service failures, and monitoring operating costs.
What you'll do
- Set daily and weekly operating plans with supervisors, dispatch and customer support
- Review capacity, service failures, attendance and vehicle availability; allocate resources to resolve gaps
- Coordinate fleet maintenance, staff training and incident follow-up with the responsible teams
- Monitor operating costs and supplier performance within delegated budgets
- Report performance, staffing needs and corrective actions to management
What we're looking for
- Transport or logistics management experience with responsibility for operational teams
- Strong scheduling, problem-solving and people-management skills
- Ability to interpret service and cost reports and make documented decisions
- 1-2 years' experience
- Languages: English
